Searching for my laptop in the video game inspired dream

The first thing I remember is being on the train at Central, quickly getting off in a hurry because I just woke up.

As I scrambled, I noticed I forgot to take my laptop in the backpack which I needed for uni. By the time I remembered, the doors have already closed and the train had left for the airport.

I wandered off to Jocelyn's work building to get her to help call Cityrail. Damn, it was a HUGE lobby, with really long escalators that went high up into the distance, almost as high as the ceiling which had glass window walls.

Lobby C

(The style and colour of lobby A, escalators of lobby B and the windows of lobby C, except the windows were in 1 big sheet of glass rather than pieces)

On the way in I saw Veronica in a short hair wig coming down for a cigarette break. I didn't have time to chat.

We found out that a guy had called Cityrail about my bag, saying he had it and left his contact details. When we called, he wasn't at his office and someone said to contact his boss instead. She said she'd get him to meet us downstairs at their building.

We got to the office and met up with the guy who I suspected was the one who had my bag, but he denied it and claimed he didn't have a clue. For some reason he was acting nervous and I knew he had it!

He said feel free to come to their building and look for it, since the guy who found it isn't around at the moment. So we did.

We went up to level 1, which looked like a level in Questacon where kids would play with scientific stuff and learn about it. It had displays which would explain why things reacted the way they do.

Onwards to level 2, it was like a home theatre display at the Sony Building in Ginza. Dark blue coloured theme with no doors.

"This can't be right, the building had way more than just 2 levels" I said to Jocelyn. As she thought about it, I pulled the curtain to the side and found a back walkway.

It was dark and unlit, with unpainted concrete walls which led on into the darkness. I got out my crappy red and white LED keyring lights which shone only about 2 meters.

Suddenly, I saw eyes glowing in the darkness and it scurried towards us. I pulled out a big sword out of nowhere and beat the crap out of it.

Jocelyn was freaked out, but I pushed on. At the end there was nowhere left to go but a small vent. I pulled off the cover and went in first. What I saw at the end of it was similar to a green field straight out of Sonic's Green Hills.

But it was filled with killer chickens. Chickens that were infected with the Resident Evil T-virus and becoming flesh eating zombie chickens! They saw me and started running towards us with crazy chicken eyes!

I told Jocelyn to get back into the vent hide. I backed up into the vent so the chickens would have to attack us one by one. I smacked one in half and scooped it to the side with the sword. Beat up another, put it to the side. Beat up a black one, a red one, a couple of white ones. After a while the dead chicken bodies were piling up and they stopped attacking.

It went quiet, and I took a good look before coming out. Suddenly there was German Shepherd sized triceratops! It started to run towards us and I got back into the vent. Somehow I managed to grab another sword, but it was jagged.

It stuck its head into the vent and I stabbed it with one sword and cut its head off with the jagged sword.

When it finally died, we came out again and discovered it wasn't the Resident Evil T-Virus but the Zerg virus that was making the animals go crazy.

Suddenly it switched views. I was playing a game of Starcraft and Wilson was the voice in my head teaching me how to play the game and share resources with the computer.

Good time to wake up! Stupid sun in my eyes!
