The dream I had last night was essentially the same plot as the TV show called V, which I don't watch!.
The first bit I remember is when an alien race is hovering in our skies with numerous UFOs ready to attack at any moment. It kinda flashed back to another scene to describe what happened to lead to this point.
The aliens have already managed to infiltrate the higher ranks of military and government office and had enough information to take over Earth.
Some conspiracy theorist that somehow found out that there was a secret invasion by the aliens and prepared to take them out. He found out that they were coming to a certain location and blew them up with some home-made missiles.
What he didn't know was that the government actually knew of the arriving aliens and that they were peace keepers trying to prevent a war between the human and alien races.
The US government claimed that it was because of that guy's actions, the aliens have declared war on us. "The man lead an unplanned assault on the spacecraft, which was carrying the best political negotiators they had. There were no survivors."
So, it brings us back to the current situation where the alien "King" was floating around in a little UFO with 2 massive laser cannons pointing at us.
He was claiming that they were going to take over Earth regardless and the attack just gave them a good excuse to do it quickly.
This bit got weird because at this point, "I" picked up the UFO in my hands and started playing it like a GameBoy. I had a bit of trouble with the second cannon though, but eventually I pressed the right sequence of buttons to overload the lasers and they blew up.
In true Power Rangers style, he shook his fist at us and threatened to come back another day as he flew back into space.
